There’s another slight schedule change for the ITV soaps schedule 13th – 19th April 2026, so this is worth knowing what’s going on this week.
Emmerdale and Coronation Street will air as normal on Monday 13th April, Wednesday 15th April, Thursday 16th April and Friday 17th April. ITV’s 2026 soap pattern remains Emmerdale at 8pm and Coronation Street at 8:30pm on weekdays when the normal schedule is in place and episodes continue to drop on ITVX from 7am on transmission day.
However, there are no soaps on Tuesday 14th April due to the Women’s European Qualifier between England women and Spain women airing on ITV, with coverage from 6:30pm to 9:10pm. ITV’s confirmed weekly highlights list the match in that slot for Tuesday 14th April.
There is also a surprise extra Emmerdale episode on Sunday 19th April at 7pm, which is reflected in ITV’s episode listings.
ITV soaps schedule this week
From Monday 13th April and then Wednesday 15th April to Friday 17th April 2026:
Emmerdale airs from 8pm to 8:30pm
Coronation Street airs from 8:30pm to 9pm
Tuesday 14th April 2026
There are no episodes of Emmerdale or Coronation Street on Tuesday night, as ITV is showing England women v Spain women (kick off at 7pm) instead from 6:30pm to 9:10pm.
Sunday 19th April 2026
There is also a bonus Emmerdale episode at 7pm.
So basically, it is mostly a normal soap week… apart from Tuesday being pinched by football and that extra Sunday Emmerdale popping up to keep everyone on their toes.
Emmerdale spoilers for 13th–19th April 2026
It looks like a dramatic week ahead in the village, with Moira, Aaron, Jacob and Robert all heavily caught up in the fallout.
The biggest storylines next week include:
- New evidence is found that could help Moira ahead of her court appearance.
- Aaron searches for more evidence, desperate to put things right.
- Dr Todd plots against Jacob, piling more pressure on him.
- Robert makes a huge decision as the pressure continues to build.
So this week’s Emmerdale looks set to bring more suspicion, more pressure and more family fallout.
Coronation Street spoilers for 13th–17th April 2026
Over in Weatherfield, Todd, Roy, Summer and Sam are all part of this week’s biggest talking points and it sounds like another messy week on the cobbles.
The biggest storylines this week include:
- Todd reports Theo to the police.
- Roy is left in serious danger when a fire breaks out at Roy’s Rolls.
- Summer uncovers the truth about Billy’s death.
- Sam points the finger at Will, as that storyline continues to build.
Altogether, it looks like Coronation Street is serving up another week of secrets, pressure and stressful consequences.
