Hand holding TV remote in front of television screen for ITV soaps schedule 23rd to 27th March 2026 and spoilers

There’s a slight schedule change for ITV soaps next week, so it’s worth knowing this one in advance.

Emmerdale and Coronation Street will air as normal from Monday 23rd March to Thursday 26th March, but there are no soaps on Friday 27th March due to England v Uruguay on ITV.

ITV’s 2026 soap pattern remains Emmerdale at 8pm and Coronation Street at 8:30pm on weekdays when the normal schedule is in place. Episodes also continue to drop on ITVX from 7am on transmission day.

ITV soaps schedule this week

From Monday 23rd March to Thursday 26th March 2026:

Emmerdale airs from 8pm to 8:30pm
Coronation Street airs from 8:30pm to 9pm

Friday 27th March 2026

There are no episodes of Emmerdale or Coronation Street on Friday night, as ITV is showing England v Uruguay from Wembley instead. ITV is promoting the match as taking place on 27th March from 7pm – kick off at 7:45pm.

So basically, it’s a full soap week… until Friday comes along and football steals the slot. Again.

Emmerdale spoilers for 23rd–27th March 2026

ITV’s own Emmerdale preview for the following week says “Dingles vs Tates” is a major focus, with Charity growing concerned over Cain’s behaviour.

From the spoiler round-ups you shared, the biggest storylines for next week include:

Cain, Charity and Joe are all central to the week’s drama, with tensions continuing to build as secrets and loyalties clash. ITV’s teaser about the Dingles and Tates backs up that family conflict is going nowhere fast.

That means next week looks set to keep pushing the ongoing Cain and Joe fallout, with Charity caught up in the middle and worrying about what is really going on. Based on the available previews, this is clearly one of the main Emmerdale threads to watch.

Coronation Street spoilers for 23rd–27th March 2026

ITV’s official Coronation Street preview for next week says Theo plans a surprise wedding, Dev is taken to the police station, and there are fresh questions around Will and Megan.

From the spoiler links you sent over, Dev, Bernie and Todd are all part of the week’s headline Corrie drama, which lines up with ITV’s teaser that Dev is heading into trouble.

So next week’s Coronation Street looks set to bring more chaos for Dev, more drama for Todd, and yet another week where nobody on the cobbles gets to enjoy a peaceful brew. Standard.

If you missed it…

If you missed it, you can catch up with last week’s post here: ITV Soaps Schedule 16th–20th March 2026.

Over to you…

Are you watching both next week, or are you more invested in the village or the cobbles?

And which storyline has your attention most – the Dingles versus the Tates, Charity worrying about Cain, Dev’s trip to the police station, or Theo’s surprise wedding plans?

One thing’s for sure, even with no soaps on Friday, there’s still plenty of drama packed into the week.
