Vinny’s fate is finally decided this week, while Joe and Sadie form a dangerous alliance and trouble brews among the Dingles.
The biggest storylines include:
- Vinny is sentenced to 10 years in prison for causing Jimmy’s death, but a final twist reveals Joe appears to have paid the judge to hand him a harsher sentence.
- Thea secretly engineers a police stop involving Kim, helping convince her unsuspecting mother that she is firmly on her side.
- Robert completes his deal to take over The Hide and appoints Serena as manager.
- Joe recruits Sadie to spy on Caleb and Ruby as his revenge against the Miligans continues.
- Sadie decides she can do even more damage by trying to seduce Caleb, despite Cain warning him not to underestimate her.
- News that Samson is due to be released from prison causes fresh Dingle tension, particularly for Moira and Matty.
- Robert rounds off the week by arranging a high-stakes poker game with Joe and Jai — but may regret underestimating Claudette.
So Vinny may be leaving the village behind, but Joe’s revenge, Sadie’s scheming and the Dingle family drama are only gathering pace.

Over on the cobbles, Sarah finally goes on trial while Kit begins chemotherapy and the pressure builds around Debbie, Gary and the bistro.
The biggest storylines include:
- Kit begins his first chemotherapy session, supported by Bernie and Brody.
- Todd accidentally reveals Kit’s cancer diagnosis to Sarah, while Bethany urges her mum to let Gary take the blame for Theo’s death.
- Jake turns against Gary over his involvement with Sarah and decides he no longer wants to live with him.
- Sarah’s murder trial begins, with evidence from Lisa and Danielle causing serious problems for her defence.
- Todd eventually takes the stand to support Sarah, before Bethany persuades Kit to appear in court too.
- A food poisoning outbreak hits Speed Daal, with Nick blamed after supplying meat that turns out to be past its sell-by date.
- Toyah becomes suspicious that Leanne and Idris are deliberately damaging the bistro so they can buy it cheaply.
- Debbie becomes convinced Ronnie is planning to put her in a care home — and then fears he may also be seeing another woman.
So this week’s Corrie centres on Sarah’s fight for freedom, Kit beginning treatment and several relationships being pushed to breaking point.
