Emmerdale spoilers for 4th–8th May 2026

It looks like a big week ahead in the village, with Bear, Mandy and Jacob all heavily caught up in the fallout.

The biggest storylines this week include:

  • Bear, Paddy and Dylan finally face the trial, with all three men learning their fate as the Ray storyline reaches a major point.
  • Mandy says an emotional goodbye, with her storyline bringing some real heart to the week alongside the heavier drama.
  • Jacob walks into Dr Todd’s trap, as Todd’s campaign against him spills further into his home life and work situation.
  • Dawn plays a dangerous game, adding another layer of risk and fallout elsewhere in the village.
  • Dawn and Joe’s wedding plans move forward, which ties into the wider pressure building around that storyline.

So this week’s Emmerdale looks set to bring courtroom drama, emotional fallout and more pressure for Jacob as Dr Todd tightens the screw.

Coronation Street spoilers for 4th–8th May 2026

Over in Weatherfield, Todd, Lisa and Will are all part of this week’s biggest talking points, and it sounds like the cobbles are still deep in Theo fallout.

The biggest storylines this week include:

  • Weatherfield reels after Theo’s death, with Kit beginning to question those caught up in the night’s events.
  • Theo’s death is officially treated as murder once the pathologist’s findings come in, pushing the storyline into full whodunnit mode.
  • Carla and Lisa postpone their honeymoon so they can stay home and support Betsy, who is left traumatised by what she found.
  • Todd remains central to the aftermath, with fears growing over what really happened and what comes next.
  • Will’s storyline continues to cause fallout, as suspicions and questions keep circling around those involved.

Altogether, it looks like Coronation Street is serving up a tense week of trauma, suspicion and murder investigation fallout.
