ITV soaps schedule for 26th–30th October 2026: there is one midweek change this week, with no Emmerdale or Coronation Street on Wednesday night.
Both soaps air at their normal times on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with Emmerdale at 8pm and Coronation Street at 8:30pm.
Liverpool v Chelsea takes over ITV on Wednesday 28th October, with coverage from 7:30pm and kick-off at 8pm.
Emmerdale spoilers for 26th–30th October 2026
It is a seriously strange week in the village, with a kidnapping, a stabbing and a murder mystery that becomes rather more dangerous than planned.
The biggest storylines include:
- Paddy is horrified to find Mary apparently dead at the vets with a knife in her back, before discovering it is all part of Chas’s murder mystery surprise for Liam.
- The game takes a frightening turn when Liam mistakes newcomer Dave for part of the fun and allows him to tie him up. It soon becomes clear Dave is very real — and very dangerous.
- Baby Tate’s kidnapping leaves Kim desperate for answers, while Graham follows instructions from whoever has taken him.
- Kim becomes convinced Thea is responsible and confronts her, but the argument ends with Kim stabbing her.
- Graham eventually finds Baby Tate safe, before the identity of the real kidnapper is exposed.
- Sadie continues manipulating Caleb and Ruby, deliberately fuelling their mistrust and trying to drive the couple further apart.
So this week’s Emmerdale brings a fake murder, a very real hostage situation, Baby Tate’s kidnap drama and more trouble from Sadie.
Coronation Street spoilers for 26th–30th October 2026
Halloween brings plenty of trouble to Weatherfield, while Bethany has big news and Tyrone finds himself being pushed too far.
The biggest storylines include:
- Ryan realises Bethany is pregnant after spotting folic acid in her bag. Bethany admits the pregnancy followed a one-night stand, and Ryan offers his support.
- Ross continues winding Tyrone up over Dorin, eventually pushing him into a confrontation with Chesney that ends with Tyrone punching him.
- Debbie accidentally jeopardises Adam’s proposal when Paula gets hold of the engagement ring, but the ring is recovered and Adam eventually proposes to Alya.
- Sally’s Halloween takes a terrifying turn when a power cut leaves her alone with a mysterious figure. Panicking, she lashes out with a vase.
- Lucy then reports Sally to social services, accusing her of controlling behaviour and leaving Sally and Tim horrified.
- Christina’s secret connection to Lucy comes closer to being exposed when Lucy discovers she has a photograph of her late mum Rachel.
- Idris turns his attention to Underworld as Carla faces problems with the business.
So this week’s Corrie brings pregnancy news, a family punch-up, an engagement, Halloween horror and Lucy turning against Sally.
