TV remote pointed at screen for ITV soaps schedule 27th April to 1st May 2026 and spoilers.

There are no schedule shake-ups to deal with this week, which honestly makes a nice change.

Emmerdale and Coronation Street are both on every weekday from Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May 2026.

ITV’s current 2026 soap pattern remains Emmerdale at 8pm and Coronation Street at 8:30pm, and both shows returned to those slots after last Friday’s disruption for the I’m A Celebrity… South Africa final (wasn’t that eventful!). Episodes also continue to drop on ITVX from 7am on transmission day.

ITV soaps schedule this week

From Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May 2026:

Emmerdale airs from 8pm to 8:30pm
Coronation Street airs from 8:30pm to 9pm

So yes, it is a full week of soaps with no football, no jungle final and no random schedule wobble for once.

Emmerdale spoilers for 27th April–1st May 2026

It looks like another dramatic week ahead in the village, with Moira, Cain, Paddy and Vanessa all caught up in the fallout.

The biggest storylines this week include:

  • Moira takes aim at Joe after discovering the truth about his deceit.
  • Cain makes a life-changing decision, with major consequences for what happens next.
  • Paddy and Bear reach another emotional turning point, with hope still hanging in the balance.
  • Dr Todd continues manipulating the situation around Jacob, while Vanessa is drawn further into it as Todd starts turning village opinion against him.

So this week’s Emmerdale looks set to bring revenge, emotional fallout and more pressure for some of the village’s biggest characters.

Coronation Street spoilers for 27th April–1st May 2026

Over in Weatherfield, Carl, Todd, Betsy and Theo are all part of this week’s biggest talking points, and it sounds like a huge week on the cobbles.

The biggest storylines this week include:

  • Corrie’s murder week unfolds across a run of special episodes, with the first four episodes following the possible victims before one of them ends up dead.
  • Todd is in serious danger when Theo turns up at the shop flat with his suitcase, leading to a dramatic confrontation.
  • Carl is heavily involved in the week’s drama, as the murder mystery builds towards its big reveal.
  • Betsy makes a horrifying discovery, as the different storylines finally collide.
  • The week builds towards the reveal of who dies, with Theo, Carl, Betsy and others all caught up in the fallout.

Altogether, it looks like Coronation Street is serving up a full-on murder week, with flashbacks, danger and a big death hanging over the cobbles.
