ITV soaps schedule for 7th–11th September 2026: Emmerdale and Coronation Street are mostly back at normal times this week.
Emmerdale airs at 8pm and Coronation Street follows at 8:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with no episodes on Tuesday 8th September because the National Television Awards are on ITV from 8pm.
So, this week’s ITV soaps schedule is simple enough: four nights of soap drama, one night off for the NTAs.
Schedule times are based on the latest ITV soap listings. Are you watching live, catching up on ITVX or just pleased the schedule is mostly behaving itself?

Emmerdale spoilers for 7th–11th September 2026
Emmerdale has moved into the fallout from the wedding tragedy, with Charity, Sarah, Nicola, Joe, Robert, Vinny, Kev and Lewis all caught up in the next wave of drama.
The biggest storylines this week include:
- Charity finally tells Sarah the truth about baby Leyla, leaving Sarah devastated when she learns Leyla is actually Charity’s daughter.
- Charity’s cover story over Dr Todd’s death starts falling apart, with forensic evidence putting both her and Serena under pressure.
- Charity is charged with murder and ends up behind bars, fearing she may be running out of options.
- Mack retrieves Cain’s St Christopher medal for Charity, and Cain instantly realises she is calling in a serious promise.
- Nicola starts digging into Jimmy’s finances and is horrified to discover missing money, sold haulage shares and problems with Victoria Cottage.
- Robert uses Joe’s grief to his advantage, pretending to offer a truce while secretly plotting for the farm and The Hide.
- Joe visits his newborn son in the neonatal unit with Kim and makes a major decision about the baby’s future.
- Lewis has exciting news, but Kev is still carrying Vinny’s secret about the crash.
So this week’s Emmerdale is all about guilt, secrets and fallout. Charity is behind bars, Sarah’s world is shattered, Nicola uncovers Jimmy’s financial mess, and Robert is already making moves while Joe is at his lowest.
